# BROKE Points

## What are BROKE Points?

**BROKE Points** are a planned community participation system.<br>

<figure><img src="https://3912587727-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FaCkwEOotyUZP6FOZ4a0Y%2Fuploads%2FVH3BqAGBpwxht241vxHh%2FBROKE%20POINTS.png?alt=media&amp;token=1e7c93a6-be13-43e7-bb43-ac70551079d3" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The idea is simple:

> **No money? No problem. You're broke. Earn points. 😂**

Users can participate in BROKE CEO without needing to hold $CBROKE.

## Active before launch

The BROKE Points system and leaderboard are planned to become active **before the $CBROKE launch**.

This means the community can start participating, completing tasks, earning points, and building leaderboard history before the token is launched.

## How points can be earned

Planned activities may include:

* Connecting an X account
* Connecting Discord
* Daily check-ins
* Likes and reposts of eligible posts
* Comments and community engagement
* Daily missions
* Weekly missions
* Special events
* Community activities
* Collaboration campaigns

Exact tasks and point values will be announced when the system is launched.

## The BROKE Board

A future BROKE Board is planned to include:

* User profiles
* BROKE Points balance
* Daily missions
* Leaderboard position
* Completed tasks
* Community activity

The system will be designed to verify eligible actions rather than relying only on self-reported completion.

## Two ways to participate

The ecosystem is planned to support both:

**BROKE Points** — for supporters who participate in the community.

**$CBROKE** — for holders and token-based participation.

> **You don't have to hold $CBROKE to be part of BROKE CEO.**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://broke-ceo.gitbook.io/broke-ceo-docs/broke-points.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
